Abstract Pile foundations are adopted if a soil of low bearing capacity extends to considerable depth or the structure is heavy settlement due large. It transfers load strong, stable stratum soil. The behaviour in slope and piles embedded it an elaborated soil-structure interaction problem. This paper presents results experimental investigations on single pile subjected lateral by varying relative density horizontal sloping ground with three different slopes 1V: 2H, 2.5H 3H. carrying considerably decreased when applied direction slope. found that increased for higher sand greater flatter than steeper effect normalized versus displacement along against quantified. A set empirical equations formulated determine deflection, fixity moment ground.
